Welcome to Wilmslow Doggy House
We are a small, friendly daycare based in Wilmslow, run from our own home. Most of our four legged guests are regulars who come for the same days each week. Keeping the group small means the house stays calm and every dog is actually noticed.
Days are built around fresh air and proper rest. Some dogs love longer woodland adventures. Others prefer a steady stroll and then a favourite armchair. We pay attention and adjust the routine so that each dog feels safe and settled.
Most new families come through recommendation. Before any dog joins the group, we talk through their personality, routine and needs, then arrange a trial so that you and your dog can be sure it feels right.

8 am - 6 pm Saturday and Sunday

We know mornings can be busy, that’s why we offer our convenient Dog Bus service. We personally collect your dog in the morning and return them safely at the end of the day.

About us - Guillermo and Erika
We’re Guillermo and Erika, the husband-and-wife team behind Wilmslow Doggy House. After more than fourteen years working as an engineer in the automotive industry, I realised my best days were never in the office, but out walking through places like The Carrs, Lindow Common, Alderley Edge, Macclesfield Forest, the Peak District etc., stopping to fuss every dog that crossed my path. During the pandemic we slowed down, looked at our life, and decided we wanted our days to be built around fresh air, dogs and a calm home rather than commutes and meetings.
Wilmslow Doggy House began with one nervous rescue Dachshund who struggled with being left alone, then a gentle Whippet called Obby who stayed with us for three weeks. Friends told friends, and our Wilmslow home quietly became a trusted local daycare for small and medium dogs. We keep the group deliberately small, so the house stays peaceful and every dog is noticed, not just by name but by personality and routine. This is our full-time way of life, not a side job, and we treat every dog here as part of our own family

Wilmslow Doggy House is exactly that: a house. Dogs spend their time in our living room, kitchen and secure garden, rather than in long concrete runs. Beds, sofas and tucked away corners give everyone a place to rest between walks.
Most days include one or two walks in local countryside such as; The Carrs, Lindow Common, Alderley Edge, Macclesfield Forest, and sometimes even the Peak District, depending on the group and the weather. Some dogs love exploring for longer, others prefer a shorter stroll and more time napping.
We keep the group small on purpose. It keeps noise down, helps more sensitive dogs feel safe and lets us notice the little things that matter, like who has a favourite bed and who needs a bit of extra reassurance when the wind picks up outside.
Vaccinations, safety and suitability
For everyone’s safety we follow clear requirements before any dog joins the group. This keeps the dogs healthy and makes sure that our quiet home setting is the right fit for them.
We work closely with owners to agree the right routine. If at any point we feel that a dog is not happy here, we will speak honestly with you about it.
Before your dog joins us
• Up to date core vaccinations and flea or worm treatments.
• Microchip number and vet details provided.
• Friendly with people and dogs, and comfortable in a home environment.
• We will talk through any anxiety, medical conditions or behaviour concerns first.
Trial days and honesty
Most new dogs start with a half day or full day trial. This keeps things fair on your dog and the existing group. If anything does not seem right, we will always be upfront so that you can make the best decision for your dog.
Little moments from our days
These are the sort of little moments we share with our Wilmslow Doggy House families every day, from muddy paws on the doormat to sleepy faces in favourite beds and happy dogs out in the fields. We send regular photo updates from walks, naps and quiet time at home so you can see exactly how your dog is getting on and feel relaxed while you are at work or away.
